 .
I'm Kerry of Wandering Jeweler on Etsy.My shop name comes from two of my favourite things wandering and jewelry!

We've traveled through Canada, the United States, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Wales, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany on our bicycles. Yeah that's what I said, bicycles! My bike has well over 10,000 kms on it.
The bike jewelry line in my shop is inspired by my cycling travels.
I love the industrial look that bike chain ads to each piece and I enjoy using bike chain in new and different ways.
I also really enjoy working with metal. I think it may be in my blood as both my dad and brother are welders. My favourite metals to work with are brass, copper and silver. Many days you can find me hammering away on pieces of metal in my studio.
Recently I started working with real flowers and resin. I pick and press the flowers myself. It has taken a lot of experimentation with different flowers and different drying methods to create these one of a kind pieces. Stone, shells and metal are all used as frames for the resin in this collection.
Thank you for wandering through some of my jewelry pieces.
Kerry

Wonderful, innovative jewelry! And wow - very impressed at your cycling prowess... I used to travel the world on a motorbike, but the most energetic part of that was kick-starting it - not pedalling!!!

I have the heart of a wanderer too, but I use a car! LOL How cool that you've bicycled so far and wide! Your shop is such a reflection of who you are. That's wonderful. Thanks for a great post!

Your biking is so impressive. Wow! And I love how you have combined things you love in your shop name, and in your jewelry pieces. I especially love when you mix your industrial edge with flowers.
