Marcie Jane Designs -
Handmade Silver and Gemstone Jewelry

Today I'm peeking into MarcieJaneDesigns to see what's new! This jewelry artisan has been busy adding new techniques to her skill set and she's using them to create some fabulous new necklaces, earrings and bracelets that I know you're going to love! Originally a bead artist, Marcie Jane has become quite a metalworker. She has a great eye for design and her pieces show it! The fantastic Copper Swirls - metalwork copper and fine silver earrings shown in the featured photo on the left are a good example of her metal designs. They were made with hand forged copper swirls and fine silver dangles ... the design itself is very attractive, and I love the mix of colors - rich red copper and the sparkling white of fine silver are a very attractive combination. These lovely earrings dangle about 1.5"" from the ear, so they're a nice length for everyday wear. At just $29.00, they're a great buy! Her Copper Leaves - metalwork copper earrings are another fine example of her metalsmithing skills. This artisan hand cut the leaves from copper sheet, gave them a wonderful hammered texture and oxidized them to bring the texture out. She then added Czech glass beads and a bit of brass chain to accent and bring movement to these pretty earrings. They could be yours for only $29.00! Marcie Jane's Round Two - fine silver hammered earrings are simply gorgeous. Four fine silver circles have been created from wire, fused then hand hammered - two for each earring - and connected to create these fashionable silver dangle earrings. they're a bargain at $37.00 ... This designer may be making fabulous metal pieces, but hasn't given up her first love - making beautiful beaded jewelry. I love her Paisley bracelet - made with turquoise, paisley jasper and sterling silver toggle! The large oval Paisley Jasper stones are gorgeous ... and the perfect match for the turquoise and red tiger eye beads she added as accents. This wonderful bracelet could easily become something you wear every day, because the blue and brown tones will compliment so many things in your wardrobe. Take this fantastic bracelet home for just $38.00! One of this designer's signature pieces is her lovely The Oyster and the Pearl Necklace. This is a classic looking piece featuring an oxidized silver "oyster shell" formed by hand from a silver disc, with a genuine white freshwater pearl, wire-wrapped in silver and dangled in front of the open shell. This is an original necklace you'll want to wear often; and reasonably priced at $42.00. If you like the design, matching The Oyster and the Pearl Earrings are available for $36.00! We all love pearl necklaces ... especially if they're unique! She Wore a Pearl Necklace - made with freshwater pearls, pink opals and labradorite - is stunning! This lovely necklace is made with multiple sizes and shapes of multicolored freshwater pearls, accented by pink opal and labradorite beads. This eclectic beauty is certainly unique, because the pearls can never be matched in exactly the same way! It is 16 1/2" long. with a 2" sterling silver extender chain, making it a total of 18 1/2". It can be worn at either length; and its only $42.00! I absolutely LOVE Marcie Jane's line of bottle cap pendants. They're colorful and quite striking; the logo images are crisp and clear, and very familiar to anyone who drank these sodas and beers. This Recycled Vintage Pop Bottle Cap Pendant is truly ... pop art! There are many different pop bottle cap pendant designs to choose from. If your thing is beer, this Recycled Beer Bottle Cap Pendant will be instantly familiar ... and of course, there are other beer bottle cap pendants to choose from. These are all handmade with sterling silver findings and recycled caps, and they're priced at only $20.00! There is more to see. A lot more! Please visit this fantastic handmade jewelry artisan to explore on your own ... guided tours are nice, but you need to experience her art yourself to appreciate it. Do some shopping while you're there ... remember, Mother's Day is May 9, and you still need to buy a gift! Of course you'll want something for yourself. Remember to bookmark this shop!
