One of my favorite things, and those things are many indeed, about being a member of the Jewelry on Etsy Team is finding brand new "Jetlings" in the nest. (The nest being my idea of our team's home page on Etsy)
It's always fun to make new friends, and when those new friends are fellow jewelry designers ... well ... it just doesn't get any better!
And exploring the shops of new members is always exciting, because, although I never know what I'll find, I'm always assured that it will be gorgeous! And it always is!
When I first became a Jetling, I was overwhelmed by the warm welcome I received - not only by members who were friends from other teams, but by the entire fleet of high flying, soaring artisans who proudly fly the Jet banner.
Newbies, you'll find your teammates here to be among the most generous, supportive, creative, sharing and caring folks you'll ever meet - in cyber space or anywhere. Dive head first into our daily chat thread and you'll see what I mean. Whatever you need, you can count on a Jet to be there - with advice, congratulations, chicken soup ... whatever is called for at the moment. And we're mighty generous with the (((((Hugs))))) too!
Oh, and need I mention that Jet humor is famous far and wide?
