Hi I’m Phyllis Trammel of SendingLoveGallery. Like many of you I’ve had several careers. Mine include being a singer/musician, music teacher, wife and mother …and along with these…designing and creating jewelry.
One of my first jewelry related memories as a little girl was when my mother showed me an earring that my father had given her. It was part of a pair of turquoise dangles, and one had been lost before I was born. I just loved that turquoise earring - such a glorious color. I used to spend time gazing through the gate into the alley because I was convinced I could see a piece of turquoise out there among the rocks! Later a kind neighbor who didn’t have children gave me a family heirloom bracelet that she had worn as a child. It was a chain of flowers made of golden spun wire filigree with little bead centers of coral. I got to wear it on special occasions. Then a few years later my aunt gave us a huge stash of old costume jewelry for playing dress-up. I can still remember how much fun it was to look at all that treasure spread out, and to examine each piece.
Well, I’m still fascinated with pretty gemstones and pearls, and I still consider jewelry, “treasure”. My first love is creating gemstone jewelry. The inspiration for a creation comes from handling and enjoying the stones - getting an idea of “what they would like to be”. I enjoy the process of coming up with a design that will look flattering on the wearer, and also show the beauty of the stones.
I like saving pieces of jewelry and helping them live again. I love to go to garage sales and flea markets for cool things to put in my fledgling vintage shop, LovesVintageDelights
I recently came across several caches of pretty vintage earrings, many without a mate, or missing the clip.
These earrings have become vintage earring - bracelets
These earrings were made from bakelite buttons

If you have sentimental pieces of jewelry you would like to have re-styled for you, I would love to work with your special treasures. You can contact me through my etsy shop SendingLoveGallery.
