Eclectic Handmade Jewelry by cooljewelrydesign

A new week ... and a new Jet of the Day for Monday! Today we're visiting cooljewelrydesign, and I found some new handmade jewelry to put under the spotlight ... starting with this fabulous pair of earrings! I just love what Pam - the jewelry designer and owner of the shop - did with the earwires. She turned wire and beads into graceful, flowing, beautiful contemporary art you can wear! These handmade earrings are fantastic in so many ways ... and they'll get lots of compliments! These sky blue artisan handmade dangle earrings are made with lovely faceted blue quartz beads and sterling silver components. The ear wire design was hand made by the artist; these are unique! The faceted quartz bead dangles 1 1/4" below the ear wire. These are a nice length without being really big. A great deal at just $23.00! The bracelets section at cooljewelrydesign is outstanding, and its where you'll see this artisan's eclectic designs displayed in all their glory! Some are more "mixed up" than others, but they all work! This pretty pastel colors Czech glass and silver wrapped heart bracelet is a good example of mildly eclectic .... the colors are different. The heart and toggle are sterling silver; the Czech glass is transparent and faceted on both sides. The heart has a beautiful embossed floral design. The toggle is a pretty Bali style scroll and swirl design. There are two smaller glass beads at the end to allow for the use of the toggle clasp. This truly fabulous bracelet is $39.00! I love this piece for two reasons. The first is because ... well, I just do. Second ... this is a great example of eclectic design at its best. Color, materials, textures ... all are thrown into a glorious tossed salad to create this eclectic bracelet. From the faceted citrine rondelles to the Boro lampwork beads, the teal and yellow / orange / brown tones just stand out in this fantastic bracelet. Citrine, carnelian, agate, amazonite, peach aventurine and kyanite; Boro glass and a silver toggle. All yours for $89.00! This piece is a necklace. If you like dichroic glass, you'll love this one ... the black dichroic glass, silver and orange bead necklace you see in the picture to the right features black glass triangle beads along its length with dichroic glass spots on them. The triangles alternate with sections made with tangerine color AB crystal beads, antiqued sterling silver spacers and tiny burgundy Czech glass beads. This necklace is made with a Bali style silver toggle; just $65.00! Stop by cooljewelrydesign today. Be sure to add this shop to your bookmarks; this shop is a place you'll want to visit again. 10. Pam/CoolJewelry has the greatest eye for using splashes of color in her designs, and I love the way she throws caution to the wind and mixes metals in a piece! Each one is totally unique, and definitely portrays her own style ;)
